Wordpress Mutation
An idea came to my mind almost immediately after getting to know Wordpress platform for weblogs: to slightly adapt the Organica Creativa’s original design to work with this handy and popular tool.
The fast passage of time, or rather the lack of it, never gave me a chance to try and experiment on this project between my activities. But one day a girl named Cintia Kou contacted to me telling she was planning to use Organica Creativa design to participate on the anual CSS Reboot.
My first answer was perhaps somewhat selfish: I told her not use the design, since I planed to send an adaptation to Wordpress (this actually was rounding my head but not with such strength). After thinking and thinking, I asked Cintia if she would be so gentility to send me her work for me to see it.
When I saw the great work she had made and since she had captured the spirit of the original design, almost maintaining it with exactitude, I thought that the best thing would be to let her use it, since her version was very well-taken care of for a person who just started diving into CSS design (even for someone who had experience).
So I finally allowed her to use it, with the condition of not distributing it. This is the design you can se at Criatura Creativa Studio Blog (CCS | Blog) nowadays, slightly modified for my own integration purposes for the CCS site.
I am working on Organica Creativa 2.0 for Wordpress at the moment. I hope that when I finish this new version, the 1.0 version that Cintia adapted and I slightly modified, will be available for download.
