CSS Zen Garden Mutation
CSS Zen Garden is without doubt the most important css project and first in its type, that looks for the conciliation of functional web design with CSS and xhtml.
Dave Shea, a world-wide recognized authority on web design and standards, leads this site where “official designs” are selected periodically, those that are correctly visualized in most platforms and navigators with consistency and fulfilling the strictest W3C’s validation rules.
But the process of selection goes further: only the most original and functional designs get to be “officials”. The designer must redesign or even create a new style sheet (cascade style sheet), without touching original HTML code.
Organica Creativa was chosen as official design of this prestigious site on August 2004. Criatura Creativa Studio’s (CCS) work has taken world-wide recognition since then.
The intention of this site is to be able to share with those who are interested the information, details and techniques of design, related to Organica Creativa, and web design in general, although the approach will be almost completely regarded to Organica.
Soon I will be adding more info about the gestation and conception of Organica Creativa: sketches, design’s evolution, influences, etc.
